According to AdMob Mobile Metrics, iPhone is responsible for around 50 percent of smartphone web traffic in the US, which is a big leap from Apple’s latest numbers, back in August 2008, where the device held 10%.
This of course means that other companies went down a bit, like Microsoft that went from 30 to 13 percent in the same time-frame. Pretty much everyone went down some points apart from Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Android.
Google’s mobile operating system is making it’s debut in these studies and already holds 5 percent of traffic share, and it only looks like it’s going to keep going up!
