Google Launches Image Search by Color

gis1 Image is massively used image engine that up until now only allowed you to by keyword and resolution. While this is suitable for most cases, sometimes you need a bit more specification of the type of image, specially when the image has to go along with some sort of context of if you want to use it for some presentation.

Keeping this in mind released a new feature that simply allows you to add a color parameter to your image . Meaning, for example, if you wanted to for fruit you could now only for red or green fruit, like the images below:

Of course you could still just for “red fruit” but even though will probably still return a valid result, the outcome might not be so accurate as expected.

Just go to images.google.com and try it for yourself!
