Kill Internet Explorer 6

This page exists because of one simple fact: Internet Explorer 6 is still the most used browser to access this website with about 30% (in March, 2009).

This happens mainly because the thing (that’s what I call it) was the original browser that came with Windows XP/2003 and even though there are a LOT of available free alternatives out there (including two new versions of that same browser) people just didn’t care enough to upgrade because that one just “worked”.

A lot of years passed since the thing’s release and web designers and developers like myself spend a lot of time around cross-browser compatibility because almost all browsers get along aside, of course, from the thing.

So, in effort to help out, here are FREE alternatives!
